Hours: Monday to Friday (Rotating Shifts)
Shift Pattern: 6:00am – 2:00pm & 2:00pm – 10:00pm (must be able to work both shifts)
Pay: £13.26 per hour

Frontline Recruitment is recruiting General Operatives on behalf of our client in Skelmersdale. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy manufacturing and production environment offering ongoing temporary work, competitive pay, and the chance to develop your skills within a supportive team.

If you are reliable, hardworking and enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment, we’d love to hear from you. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in manufacturing, production or warehousing, although full training will be provided for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities: 

As a General Operative, your duties will include:

• Packing printed products accurately and efficiently to customer specifications.
• Carrying out quality inspections to ensure products meet company and customer standards.
• Supporting machine operators with machine set-up, material loading and production runs.
• Monitoring production output and reporting faults or inconsistencies.
• Labelling, sorting and preparing finished goods for dispatch.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Following all company health & safety procedures at all times.
• Assisting with general warehouse and production duties as required.
• Working to production targets and deadlines in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Completing basic production paperwork and records where necessary.

Requirements:

To be successful in this General Operative role, you should have:

• Previous experience within a production, manufacturing, print or warehouse environment (preferred but not essential).
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify quality issues.
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• A willingness to learn new skills and support different production areas.
• The ability to stand for long periods and carry out manual handling duties.
• Basic problem-solving skills and a positive approach to work.
• Flexibility to work both rotating shifts on a weekly basis.
