Location: Ilkeston
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Permanent salary: Over £31,000 per year
Shifts: 14:30–23:00 or 18:00–02:30
Working days: Sunday to Thursday

We are recruiting experienced Warehouse Pickers to join a busy warehouse team in Ilkeston.

The role focuses on voice picking, using a voice-controlled headset and scanner to pick customer orders accurately and efficiently. Orders are then prepared and loaded onto delivery vehicles for next-day delivery.

Key duties:

• Pick customer orders using a voice-controlled headset
• Use scanners to locate and check products
• Check product quality and temperature
• Prepare and load orders onto delivery vehicles
• Lift and handle orders safely during loading
• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and safe
• Follow all health and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse or order-picking experience
• Experience using voice-picking headsets or scanners preferred
• Comfortable with manual handling and lifting orders
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Good attention to detail
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
