Van Driver – Multi-Drop Home Deliveries

£13.00 per hour | Castle Donington | Immediate Start | 10:30 AM – 8:30 PM

We are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to carry out multi-drop home deliveries from our Castle Donington location.

This is a hands-on delivery role involving driving, loading and unloading goods, heavy lifting and manual handling, as well as providing a professional and friendly service to customers at their homes.

Previous multi-drop or delivery driving experience is preferred, but reliability, a strong work ethic and good customer service skills are essential.

The Role

• Multi-drop home deliveries to customers.
• Driving a company van safely and responsibly.
• Loading and unloading goods, including heavy items.
• Delivering goods safely to customers’ homes.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Following delivery schedules, procedures and company standards.
• Maintaining a professional and reliable approach throughout the working day.

Working Hours: 10:30 AM – 8:30 PM

Start date: ASAP

Training

As part of the onboarding process, you will initially shadow an experienced driver for a couple of shifts. These training shifts will start at 6:00 AM and will ensure you are familiar with the delivery processes, procedures and expectations before working independently.

We are looking for someone who can provide consistent and reliable attendance on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence.
• Previous delivery/multi-drop experience preferred.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Professional attitude.
• Good time-management skills.
• Able to work independently after completing training.

Position

The role will initially be temporary, with the opportunity to move to a permanent position for drivers who meet the required standards and performance expectations.
