Our exclusive client based 3 miles outside of Derby City Centre, requires full time bakery production operatives on a temporary ongoing basis.

All roles offer temp to permanent opportunities for high performers who offer the following attributes.

Skills

• Ability to work 12 hour shifts
• Flexible for regular days or nights
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance
• Production or food experience

The Role

• As a bakery production operative you will trained on a variety of tasks to produce bread products.
• These may include basic Machine Operation and general production duties.
• You will be working in a warm/hot environment and may involve regular lifting of the products into the ovens or from trollies.
• You will also keep the areas clean and tidy as directed by the Manager on site.
• You will work as a team to meet production targets and deadlines.

Suitable Applicants

• Flexible for shifts
• Food experience desirable but not essential
• Experience of working in a fast paced production environment
• Physically fit to lift/load/unload products
• A team player

Hours of Work

12 Hour shifts – Days 6 am until 6 pm – Nights 6 pm until 6 am, from Sunday until Friday day shift, no Saturday working required.

Regular breaks, 1 hour unpaid.

Full-time and Part-time opportunities

Some Bank Holiday working required

Pay

Flat pay rate of £12.76 ph, weekly pay 1 week in arrears.
