We’re currently looking for a hands-on and motivated Tooling Engineer to join our Client’s team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in mechanical or precision engineering, especially in grinding and milling machines.
You’ll receive full training, but knowledge of press tools is essential. Previous experience operating machines like the Jones & Shipman Grinder or Bridgeport Turret Mill is highly desirable. Shift is Monday-Friday 7:00-16:00.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and operation of press tools and manual machines
- Operate Jones & Shipman Grinder
- Manually operate Bridgeport Turret Mill
- Lathe work
- Carry out quality control checks and maintain safety standards
- Press tool maintenance and fitting
Essential experience:
- Knowledge/understanding of press tools
- Hands-on or workshop experience in an engineering setting
Desirable experience:
- Milling machine: 1 year
- Grinding machine: 1 year
- Experience using Jones & Shipman Grinder and/or Bridgeport Turret Mill
