Our client is seeking a skilled Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer (ideally with plastics experience) but not essential.

With both mechanical and electrical training (all splits considered) you will be working a 3 shift rotation of mornings, afternoons and nights Monday to Friday.

What you will be doing?

• Carry out route maintenance and inspections including PPM & Thermographic
• Carry out planned repairs to injection moulding and blow moulding machinery, factory and services
• Ideally you will have plastics processing knowledge but not essential
• Complete maintenance documentation, IE Engineering Reports and PPM Schedules using relevant software
• Evaluate and carry out improvements to machinery
• Repair breakdowns in a timely manner
• You will have a sound knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics fault finding
• Conversant with schematic drawings

About you?

• Flexible towards shift work and also 1 in 6 weekend on call rota (additional payment for this)
• Overtime at enhanced rates – Time & 1/4 in the week T x 1.4 weekends
• Attendance allowance

Salary: £19.20 ph plus OT, plus attendance allowance so OTE Circa £42k
