We are looking for a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Derby. Applicants must hold a Level 3 Engineering qualification and have experience working on manufacturing or plant machinery. (6 Month Fixed-Term Contract, Potential to Extend)

         Hours:

• Monday to Friday

        Weekly rotating shifts:

• 6:00am – 2:00pm
• 8:00am – 4:00pm
• No weekends
• Overtime available

Duties:

• Planned and reactive maintenance
• Fault finding and repairs
• CMMS updates and record keeping
• Continuous improvement activities
• Health & safety compliance
• Contractor supervision
• Plant and equipment optimisation
• Quality and process monitoring
• Shift Team Leader cover when required
• General housekeeping

Requirements:

• Level 3 Engineering qualification
• Manufacturing or plant maintenance experience
• Strong fault-finding skills
• Good health & safety awareness
• Reliable and proactive approach
