We are hiring for Extrusion Operators in Heanor, Derbyshire on continental shifts.

The company’s advanced and innovative products are used by companies worldwide to grow, harvest, package or protect their goods across the agriculture, food,beverage, healthcare, construction, facilities management, industrial and retail sectors.

What you will be doing?

• Operate extrusion or conversion machinery
• Set up and operate plastic extrusion/conversion machines to produce plastic products.
• Monitor line conditions including:
• temperature
• pressure
• line speed
• material feed
• Ensure machines run efficiently and within production targets.

What experience do you require?

• Proven experience in the operation of extrusion or conversion machines
• experience is running continuous manufacturing machinery, especially:
• Blown film extrusion
• Cast film extrusion
• Plastic pellet extrusion
• Pipe/profile extrusion
• Injection moulding or thermoforming

Shifts – Continentals (2 days 2 nights x 12 hours 6-6) – no variation, must be willing to work continentals both days and nights.
