Looking for a Delivery Driver role with fewer drops and a better work-life balance?

Are you an experienced Delivery Driver or Van Driver looking for a role that offers a better work-life balance? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Unlike many multi-drop driving positions, this role involves no more than 12 deliveries per day. As a result, you’ll have more time to focus on customer service and safe driving rather than rushing between large numbers of drops.

Working on a rota basis, you’ll work any 5 days out of 7, and you’ll receive your rota at least 4 weeks in advance. Therefore, you’ll have greater visibility of your schedule and more opportunity to plan your personal time.

The Role Delivery Van Driver

As a Home Delivery Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products safely and efficiently to customers’ homes while providing outstanding customer service.

About the Role

As a Home Delivery Van Driver, you will play an important role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries safely and on time. Furthermore, you’ll represent the business at every customer interaction, making professionalism and reliability essential.

Your responsibilities will include:

Safely operating a company van to complete scheduled home deliveries.
Planning and following efficient delivery routes to maximise productivity.
Loading and unloading goods safely and securely.
Completing basic assembly work when required; however, full training will be provided.
Communicating with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork.
Carrying out routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts.
Following all road traffic laws and company procedures at all times.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have:

A full UK driving licence.
A good driving record.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
Good levels of physical fitness, as some lifting will be required.
A reliable and professional approach to work.

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, Van Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Courier Driver, or Home Delivery Driver is preferred. However, candidates with transferable experience from logistics, transport, or warehouse environments are also encouraged to apply.
