Job Summary
Frontline Recruitment are currently seeking Multiple experienced Bench Joiners to work with our client based in Colwick, Nottinghamshire.

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team, responsible for a variety of construction and repair tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and related skills, ensuring high-quality workmanship in all projects. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a commitment to safety standards.

Duties

  • Construct, assemble, and install wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications.
  • Perform joinery tasks including cutting, shaping, and finishing wood components.
  • Carry out electrical work as required for installations.
  • Engage in painting and finishing tasks to enhance the appearance of completed projects.
  • Execute masonry work as needed for structural integrity.
  • Conduct heavy lifting and manoeuvring of materials safely on-site.
  • Ensure all work is plumb and level, adhering to building regulations.
  • Fabricate custom pieces based on project requirements.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and roofers to complete projects efficiently.

Skills

  • Proficient in joinery techniques with experience in woodworking tools and machinery.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems related to construction projects is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform painting tasks with attention to detail for a professional finish.
  • Experience in masonry work is beneficial for structural tasks.
  • Competence in heavy lifting and physical stamina for demanding tasks.
  • Strong skills in assembling various structures and fixtures accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for precision in workmanship.
  • Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
