We are currently recruiting for a Driving & Logistics Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in Chesterfield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within the recruitment industry, with a clear progression path into Senior Consultant, Branch Manager, or Team Leader roles.

The Role

As a Driving & Logistics Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and placing professional drivers and logistics staff across a range of temporary and permanent positions.

You will work closely with clients to understand their workforce requirements while building and maintaining a strong candidate network within the transport and logistics sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy qualification through to placement
• Sourcing and attracting HGV Class 1, HGV Class 2, 7.5T, Van Drivers, Warehouse Operatives, Transport Administrators, and Logistics Personnel
• Conducting candidate interviews, registrations, and compliance checks
• Completing Right to Work (RTW) checks and ensuring all documentation is fully compliant
• Advertising vacancies across multiple job boards and social media platforms
• Building and maintaining a pipeline of quality driving and logistics candidates
• Managing client relationships and delivering exceptional customer service
• Booking drivers into shifts and coordinating temporary workforce requirements
• Negotiating rates and managing recruitment campaigns
• Maintaining accurate records using the CRM and recruitment database
• Ensuring compliance with transport, recruitment, and employment legislation
• Developing new business opportunities through sales activity and client engagement

• Confidence when speaking with candidates and clients
• Previous recruitment, sales, logistics, transport, customer service, or account management experience is advantageous but not essential
