My client is a based in the heart of Melbourne, Derbyshire, 1 bus from Derby bus station, can be reached from Swadlincote, Ashby and surrounding areas.

They are a long established and reputable production company, who are keen to hire a manual machinist who is willing to learn the tooling/technical side of the workshop!

This is a regular day time role with some flexibility to start and times, with overtime paid at enhanced rates during busy periods.

What you will be doing?

You will be operating manual machines, eg., turning, milling, grinding and also learning the basic repair and maintenance of the machinery.

Full training will be provided to learn the technician side of the role, but we would anticipate all suitable applicants to have basic manual machining experience.

Shift – Days – hours to be agreed, Monday to Friday

Overtime is available during busy periods paid at enhanced rates

Pay – Up to £16 ph full trained, negotiable start rate based on experience.
