Our client is a large international organisation based in Weymouth and seeking an experienced Capture Manager.

Duties:-

Instrumental in capturing new business for the Company by creating winning bids.

Manage the front-end requirements for the capture of new business opportunities:
Develop bid strategies and concepts of operationManage the full bid process including work breakdown structure and technical solution development
Production of bid proposals & associated plans
Manage the relationship with the client to include ensuring clear lines of communications are established and that their requirements are fully understood
Lead the Cost Estimation processes in conjunction with Senior Manager EP&P
Bid review and general bid team management.
Ensure that the final bid submissions meet the highest quality standards.
Manage liaison with the relevant Operations group during the bid life-cycle to coordinate inputs to the technical bid solution.
Support the sub-contractor and supplier selection process, in conjunction with Quality, Technical & Supply Chain personnel.
Manage production of sub-contractor scopes of work and liaison with suppliers & sub-contractors to achieve cost effective work package quotes.
Liaison with the Commercial Manager to produce the commercial aspects of the proposals.
Support Marketing and Business Development by managing the preparation and supply of technical information.
Represent the company to existing customers and potential new clients, including presentation of company & programme capabilities and bid solutions to customer assessment teams.
Compliance with Company Business Operating Procedures and development of new processes and procedures to meet the business objectives.
Attendance at Gate Reviews for new business opportunities as required.
Responsible for the handover of complete bid packages to Operations following successful bid awards.
Responsible for the provision of accurate bid status & tracking information to maintain the there New Business Opportunities dataset.
Maintain communications and liaison with Operations, HR, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, Design & Engineering and QESH departments/functions.
Responsibility for the management of archived information relating to all previous bid activity that requires retention, in accordance with the Company’s Records Retention Business Process
Travel in the UK and overseas will be required as part of this role – the nature e of the bid cycle also requires lengthy working hours on occasions.

Qualifications Required:

Essential:

Minimum 10 years’ experience at a similar level / similar role with an FM background
Project/Programme Management experience

Preferred (but not essential):

Operations/contract management experience in an FM/services role

Membership of a relevant and recognised Professional Institute

Leadership & management

Estimating and Pricing

Risk Assessment

Communication Communications & presentation skills

Project and programme planning

Personal qualities – proactive, self-starter, good time management and task prioritisation
