It was a final like no other in every sense – the build-up was on a scale above anything seen in women’s football in Great Britain, and it provided the perfect ending. Frontline are so proud that The Lionesses won the Euros against Germany, with the final score being 2-1 to England.
The victory is England’s since the men won the World Cup in 1966. This is an amazing achievement for women’s football, as England created history by winning their first major women’s tournament, against old rivals and eight-time champions Germany.
Huge congratulations to Ella Toone and Chloe Kelly, for scoring the goals enabling England to win.
This an incredible success on Women’s football and this will only continue to grow now!
